ABOUT
DR RYAN PHILLIP BOND
Dr Ryan Phillip Bond grew up in Durban, matriculating from Durban High School in 1992. He completed his undergraduate medical studies at University of Cape Town in 1998 and attained Orthopaedic postgraduate degrees from both the University of Pretoria as well as the College of Medicine. From 2011 to 2014, he was an orthopaedic consultant at Ngwelezane Hospital in Empangeni, Kwazulu-Natal. He has been in private practice at George Mediclinic since 2014.
Being passionate about nature, he has travelled Southern Africa extensively, from Bushveld to fynbos, in search of our magnificent fauna and flora. He is a top Southern Cape Birder.
He has an extensive rugby background, having represented the rugby clubs Hamiltons (Cape Town), Collegians (Durban) and Harlequins (Pretoria).
Dr Bond is married to Debbi and has three children, who attend George Preparatory and Outeniqua Primary schools. He is a dedicated family man and committed to making a future in South Africa. Dr Bond has special interests in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery, foot and ankle pathology and trauma orthopaedics.

Debbi Buys is a physiotherapist specialised in Orthopaedic out-patients. She offers in-house physiotherapy for conservatively treated conditions as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
MARIETJIE
Marietjie is a trained occupational and hand therapist who treats upper limb conditions from the shoulder to the hand.
ROSE AND SONJA
Rose and Sonja are the dedicated teams handling bookings and medical aid and billing queries.
Dr Bond is contracted to all medical aid schemes, with no co-payments needed. Depending on your medical aid scheme, no GP referral needed.
